Parent and child fostering is a service for providing an assessed placement for both a child or children and their parent or parents. By fostering a parent and a child, it supports the parent to care for their child through a structured and time-limited assessed placement.
Assessments may include observations and demonstrations, teaching and assessing the parent's response to this.
